What’s In a Quality Boundary Fence
Written by GJ Stott
For a simple or more functional boundary fence, precast concrete is a sturdy option. Precast concrete boundary fences can be simple and non-decorative for simple boundary delineation, security and privacy. Precast boundary fences can also include decorative architectural forms and textures, including stone, brick, block and stucco.
The most recognizable boundary fences are in Great Britain where dry-stone fences still exist, many of them several hundred years old. the key difference between old stone boundary fences and current stone fences is the use of mortar. Mortar makes stone fences more stable and sturdy. Current boundary fences can be built to greater heights. The newest method of constructing boundary fences and stone walls is with the use of precast concrete.
Boundary fences constructed of precast concrete are a cost effective alternative to dry-stone fences and other boundary fence choices. Boundary fences of precast concrete don’t need to be bare and ugly; they can include some type of texture that results in a more natural looking fence. Fences poured in place don’t have the same flexibility, nor the same cost effectiveness as our boundary fences. Our boundary fences are the perfect solution for the builder who wants the best quality at the best cost.
